Troy Youngblood & the Soulfish is a six, sometimes seven-piece band, that plays rhythm & blues, soul, and funk. They used to be gypsies living in the Florida wilderness.
But in 2015, they surfaced in the Greater Tampa Bay area, bringing their brand of “bone chilling blues” with them. They recently placed third in the Suncoast Blues Challenge, and their songs have been featured on WMNF 88.5 Tampa. Also on their resume are festivals such as: the Orange Blossom Jamboree, Spirit of the Suwannee Southern Soul BBQ, Cotee River Seafood and Blues Fest, WMNF’s April Fool’s Little Manatee River Jam, Peace Love and Blueberries Fest, WMNF’s Americana Fest, Myakka River Jam, Zen Fest, Aurora Sol Fest, and Luna Walkabout Fest. Beyond that, Troy Youngblood has had the distinguished honor to play solo at the House of Blues in New Orleans.
